In a surprising crossover event that defies conventional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Uncovered

According to the formal announcement, "An unusual confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of banned practices and fearsome changes echo through the obscurity." The narrative features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden cult.

The adventure focuses on "bizarre tests and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Transformations

The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Bonus Content

Players who finish the quest will acquire an unique katana together with multiple items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
