'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League homecoming

Kane celebrates his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in going back to the Premier League has diminished and he is prepared to explore a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is at the moment two years through the four-year contract he inked when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the summer of 2023.

The veteran forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German side, contributing them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the maiden significant honor of his illustrious career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he needs 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England captain has now indicated that he is no longer as eager about coming back home as he previously was, and would seriously think about lengthening his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could absolutely see that," he stated.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so unfolds and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different chances and different periods happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the speediest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five competitions, reaching the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had escaped him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane admits that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy barren spell, but now thinks it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
